Innovation Studies

In the modern global economy, all sectors are technology-driven, creating an innovation challenge for developing countries. Closer synergy among Government, universities, research institutions, and business is imperative to promote innovation and ensure economic growth.

In tune with the emerging innovation paradigm in developed and developing nations, the Government of Kerala has allotted innovation seed fund for the KN Raj Centre to facilitate innovation infrastructure in universities. This includes setting up of Incubation Support Center, Entrepreneurship Support Scheme to assist young entrepreneurs, an interest subsidy loan for five years to any student entrepreneur for implementation of a project based on patent, and educational assistance for doing post-graduation/ research to students securing a patent, etc.

The KN Raj Centre has taken the lead to establish the Business Innovation and Incubation Centre in the University.
